Join us for a morning pool activity before an afternoon of two-stop, two-tank dives on our boat, designed for scuba diving enthusiasts. After a brief poolside adventure and short warm-up session, you will participate in two supervised open water slides guided by our experienced PADI swim instructor.
8:30am Meet at the shop for gear and briefing
9:30am Go to the pool, location TBA
10:00am Pool Session
12:00n Break for Lunch
12:45pm Meet back at the shop for boarding
1:00pm Depart for the 2 tank dive
4-5pm Return
Complete our boat waiver and the DSD waiver attached to your booking confirmation
Do I need to know how to swim to scuba dive?
YES
If you’ve thought about this, you’re certainly not alone. For safety reasons, there are some minimum swimming requirements. Be able to complete a 200 yard swim on your own without assistance and be able to float for ten minutes – you can do this laying on your back or by treading water. The most important thing is your level of comfort in the water. The more comfortable you are the more enjoyable your dives will be, so if you’re not there yet, taking a couple of swimming lessons or classes may help improve your skills and confidence ahead of your course.
